85.04.0117This statue was cast in five pieces and has inlays of corals and other stones. The standing Chakrasamvara closely embraces his consort, Red Vajravarahi, symbolizing the union of wisdom and compassion (yab-yum). Chakrasamvara is an important tantric meditational deity.
